Make your first character, understand the editor, and enter the world with a story in mind.

Prepare for the editor
- Start with a compatible client and let required server assets finish downloading.
- Have a believable name, background, motivations and limitations in mind.
- Avoid opening unrelated launchers or swapping game profiles while the character screen is active.
02 / Identity
Create a believable person
- Give your character a history and a reason to be in the city. You do not need an elaborate biography.
- Avoid character names created to impersonate staff or deliberately disrupt others.
- Keep motivations flexible so another player's choices can influence your story.
03 / Appearance
Complete the character editor
- Follow the visible editor prompts and let each step complete before continuing.
- If the editor pauses or a menu stops responding, do not repeatedly submit the same change.
- After creation, allow the server time to load appearance and world state rather than disconnecting immediately.
04 / First spawn
Enter the world
- When the world loads, verify that your character is visible and can move normally.
- If your appearance fails to restore or the screen stays blocked, capture the exact error and time.
- Submit a support ticket rather than deleting the character or reinstalling resources without diagnosis.
05 / After setup
Begin your story
- Review the Rules, introduce yourself to other characters and explore the accessible public areas.
- Look for current opportunities through in-game prompts and community announcements.
- Character identity and Discord account linking are separate features until confirmed integrated.
